BSIT earns Level 4 re-accredited certificate

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program under the College of Computer Studies formally received its Level IV Re-Accredited certificate from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines this afternoon (March 27) at the CCS AVR, San Isidro Campus.

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program under the College of Computer Studies formally received its Level IV Re-Accredited certificate from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines this afternoon (March 27) at the CCS AVR, San Isidro Campus.

Office of Quality Assurance Director Dr. Nino B. Corpuz led the awarding ceremony and discussed the accreditation results and the accreditors' recommendations.

Based on the AACCUP report, the BSIT program obtained a 4.63 grand mean with a 4.80 rating in the planning process, 4.70 in international linkages, 4.67 in graduates' performance, and 4.50 in both research and community service.

In a message, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Agnes M. Macaraeg recognized the college's hard work and collaborative efforts, leading to a good working relationship.

"May you continue having that kind of working relationship here at CCS," VP Macaraeg said.

Meanwhile, CCS Dean Dr. Alvincent E. Danganan assured that the college would continue to "improve, evolve, and ensure" that the students would receive high-quality education.

"Our dedication to excellence remains unwavering, and we will keep pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve for the benefit of our students and the future of our program," Dean Danganan said in his acceptance speech.

The certificate of commendation was awarded by VP Macaraeg, Dr. Corpuz, and QA Assistant Director Dr. Ma. Socorro D. Valdez.

The BSIT program's Level IV Re-Accreditation status is valid until November 2029. (jlmm-OPA)
